Linestone is a collective experiment in cultivating Life Art — emerging from the ritual work of In Fragments at High Acres Farm.
Initiated by Mara Zepeda, Sydney Bolger, David Alder, and myself, Linestone co-creates experiential gatherings that celebrate the beauty and magic of life — finding the natural alignments between people, places, projects, and dreams.
Linestone is named for the ancient gray and white “linestones” that are found along the shores of Vermont’s Lake Champlain — offering an ancient symbol of individuality and interconnection. By integrating the individual “way of the line” and the relational “way of the circle,” we can come into greater alignment with the natural unfolding of life — opening pathways to beauty and peace.
The Linestone symbol is inspired by the similar insignia of High Acres Farm — which combines the sinusoidal rolling hills of the land with a human DNA double helix, expressing the concept “Human Nature”. The Linestone symbol uses the same geometry, adding three interconnected stones emerging from the land and radiating outwards to encompass the sphere of the world in both water and sky. Two small seagulls can be seen in flight along the upper edge of the symbol, in reference to a favorite story.
