Combining elements of computer science and cartography, visual art and storytelling, personal ritual and placemaking, the projects of Jonathan Harris explore the principles and patterns that live at the heart of the human experience. He is the creator of Sunlight Papers, a growing collection of illustrated wisdom teachings for all ages. He also serves as a steward of High Acres Farm, a gathering place in Vermont where his 7-year exploration of Life Art created the 21 films of In Fragments. Earlier in his career, he created the digital artworks We Feel Fine, a search engine for human emotion; The Whale Hunt, an experiment in interactive documentary; and Cowbird, a public library of human experience; among many others.
