Established in 1952 by Electra Havemeyer Webb as a home for her son, Harry Webb, and his wife, Kate de Forest Jennings, High Acres Farm continued as a private family estate until the death of Kate Webb Harris in 2016, when my sister and I began to explore ways of sharing its beauty with others.
In 2017, we completed a major gut renovation of the historic main house, which is now a thriving hospitality offering for a different family each week — many of whom tell us that their week here was among the happiest weeks of their lives.
In 2019, we developed a new identity system and website for High Acres Farm, anchored in the concept “Human Nature.” The insignia shows a strand of human DNA mixing with the iconic hills of our land — forming a synthesis of human culture and the natural world.
In 2022, I released In Fragments — a series of 21 rituals performed over six years, as a way of preparing our land for the best possible future.
