The Zoo Mural was an eighteen-foot-tall wall painting created during my second year at Princeton University, as a lighthearted way of honoring my nine roommates in “the Zoo” — the largest dormitory room on campus.
The mural personifies each of the ten roommates as a different jungle animal, with the one rule that each person’s animal would be chosen by his peers.
A set of “Zoo Animal” t-shirts were also created, unique to each roommate.
