Inner Landscapes / An installation of interconnected memories using a network of color-coded strings running from picture to picture / / Documentary works · 2010
Inner Landscapes was an installation about the interconnection of memory — staged at the Firehouse Gallery (now BCA Center) in Burlington, Vermont.
The installation presented hundreds of photographs from Today, physically connected through a network of color-coded strings, indicating common (but unspecified) themes. Accompanying each photograph was a personal story, printed by a computer program trained to imitate my handwriting.
The catalog for the show includes a conversation with Andy Cameron, my former mentor at Fabrica.
